Located on the Faubourg Saint-Antoine in Paris, our studio is specialised ininterior decoration. We bring to each project our expertise, our creativity and our core competency, sculpture.
We design hand-carved ornamental woodwork, panelling, architectural and wall decoration, furniture and contemporary pieces for architects, interior designers and private clients. We also collaborate on official restoration projects for the “Historical Monuments” of France. With 30 years of really professional experience, our top priority is the excellence and quality of our work. In 2010, our workshop was officially recognised as aLiving Heritage Company.
After 11 years’ apprenticeship in ornamental sculpture, woodcarving and interior decoration followed by professional experience working for the Ateliers Fancelli (restoring the Chateau de Versailles, 17th century Brittany Parliament buildings and 15th century Bois d’Orcan Castle), Etienne Rayssac opened his own studio in 1992.
Thanks to his long training and solid experience, he was highly well qualified to take on major largescale orders, propose original creations and undertake important projects, such as the Shiseido Boutique in the Palais Royal, a decorative plaster mural for Guerlain’s Parisian boutique and the carriage entrance doors in the Place Vendôme. The high quality of his work and his expertise were commended at the ceremony when he was awarded the title of Maitre d’Art in 2008.
